Dessi Sieburth will discuss the identification of Ainley’s Storm-Petrel, Hydrobates cheimomnestes. This is a poorly-known bird with a small population that breeds on a few tiny islands off the west coast of Baja California. This bird is considered by some an independent species, and by others a subspecies of Leach’s Storm-Petrel.
